The weather was awful. The queues were long. The mud was copious. But the band were great. The set was quite short (85 minutes)... but very sweet.

Did anyone see The Answer? How'd they do?
When I saw the line-up I was so tempted to go, but I hate Hyde Park as a venue, so I didn't.

Queues for the food were the worst and also I know it was raining but I couldn't see much as people had umbrellas up.

Been to a few large gigs recently and haven't really enjoyed them much, I prefer those sweaty intimate club gigs.

Ditto - plus the weather and prospect of being ripped off and standing in Hyde Park in the dark & rain listening to their soppy ballads (I love the rockers) didn't seem like my idea of a good time.

I saw The Answer in a pub in Brixton a couple of years or so ago and they were bloody good!
