Help with London!

Postby Steffahoob » 31st Aug 07, 15:12

Does anyone know the best way to get to the Albert Hall from either Milton Keynes, Northampton or Bedford, preferably the cheapest too as I'm paying for it!

Me and my friend need to get there but no one can give us a lift so we figured the trains might be pretty good, we're not sure though so we're asking around!
We'd need to be there by about 10am at the latest, and depending on how nice the county are feeling we may have to drag our bass stools with us which could be fun!

The concert we're in isn't until November but the county needs to know in the next week if we can go or not, so transport needs to be sorted or atleast thought about.

Thanks :)

MK or Bedford will be cheapest. Get a 1 day travelcard, and check the time of the last train back! (I think trains to bedford run through the night, but don't just take it from me...)

South Kensington station is the local underground stop by the looks of things. Look at the TfL website for a tube map - trains from MK arrive at Euston, Bedford trains go through central London (Kings Cross/ St Pancras, Farringdon, and Blackfriars are the best places to change to the tube coming from the north)

Thanks alot!
That's pretty much all we needed to know. Looks like we'll be taking the train because all taxi's and buses are mega expensive and say we'll hae 'too much awkward luggage with us' !

Thanks again.
