Keith Baxter, drummer of 3 Colours Red has died. No idea why as yet. Tragic news. There's more about it on the Therapy? website.

That a real shame. I saw 3 Colours Red many times over the years and they were always very entertaining and had some great songs. Co-incidently just the other day I was lamenting the fact the Elevation, the band he formed with Pete after 3CR split the first time, never released an album (great single though).

It is with a truly heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of good friend and musician Keith Baxter. Many of you will know that he was the vastly talented drummer with Three Colours Red who helped Therapy? out in 2002 and was on our Scandanavian tour as well as many summer festivals that year.

All of us are in shock and our thoughts are with Rachael and his family as well as any former bandmates and crew who spent time with him.

An intelligent and humble man whose wide eyed sense of excitement was infectious, he will be missed by many and will always have a special place in our hearts.

It was in the same message space as what this post is about.

I saw it yesterday and began searching the net for reports of Keef dying or something.

Very sad.

I saw the thing on Ginger's myspace status yesterday and that was the first person who sprung to mind for me but I hadn't found anything last night to confirm it.

It is, indeed, such a shame. He seemed like a sweet natured guy.

It's the little updates that say 'Ginger is sad to be leaving New York', 'Ginger is looking forward to playing in Minneapolis tomorrow' etc. it's basically copied from facebook and they can get changed as much or as little as you want. I think only friends see it on their own homepage.

I am totally shocked.

I found statement from Babyjudas which Keith has been playing recently.
