Went to see it last night with the lovley potential future Mrs Sarc (her words not mine) and its a right belter, although be warned in the one scene that Johnny Depp, Timothy SPall and Sach Baron "I'm really not that funny I admit it" Cohen are all in together you cant help but think, why is Captain Jack SParrow singing nursery rhymes with Borat and Barry from Auf Wiedersehn Pet.

So far all I've seen are trailers but, cos Mr Depp appears to be channelling a mixture of the characters played by Noel Fielding in The Mighty Boosh, I can't stop laughing...which I think is not the intended response...oh well lol

oh yeah Bonham-Carter keeps referring to him as Mr T aswell which also doesnt help as I kept watching out for Face, Murdoch and the other one I can never remember the name of but it is an excellent film all round but he still sounds like Jack Sparrow when he's singing and some of the over emphasis on some syllables do make it sound a bit emo-operatta sometimes but don't let it put you off, the little kid in it is fantastic and if that really is the kids singing voice (not the sailor the young one they take under their wing) he's gonna go far.

Oh yeah Depp is also sporting the Lamont/Keegan badger stripe to

There is a bit of Bowie in his voice but nothing to obvious, just the way he sings certain words.
I'm surprised to be honest cuz I was expecting his voice to more rock orientated but it suits the whole mood of the film and the music very very well
