The Wildhearts

anyone like this band? i saw "once" last week and me and the missus have fallen in love with the soundtrack.
anyone got any idea of a good starting point for listening to the frames/

The Frames are an amazing band. I downloaded the Breadcrumb Trail album on a whim a few months back and fell completely in love with it. It's a live album, with a fairly "greatest hits" set BUT it's everything a live album should be. It's really well recorded, seems to be quite an intimate gig, the songs are gorgeous, and the frontman / singer (not sure what he's called) puts in an amazing performance (as do all the band).

It also features some cracking electric (?) violin.

Seriously, I can't recommend this album enough! I've now got all their albums (bought them) and think they're all amazing.

If you can't find much of their stuff in the shops, what.cd and stmusic.org often have their stuff posted for download (if you're a member).
