Eureka Machines in London this Sunday 27th April

Postby eyeheartsatan » 24th Apr 08, 17:06

just got a text from 'T Machines,

Eureka Machines first* London gig this Sunday 27th at 12 Bar Club, Denmark Street.
9:30pm. £3.

*(I suppose they mean '2nd London gig, but first proper electric London gig with full band' - but that would probably mean paying for a double text, and that just 'aint punk..)

Anyway.. who's going?

Good to see they have a chance to subject London to a full band show, you will not be disappointed.
I'm not going cos I only just got back home to Leeds after 2 weeks in the far east so I am not traveling anywhere for a while!
I might be off to see the acoustic gig on Saturday, if I am over my jet lag enough to be considered human again. Brain not work now. Need more coffee.

I'll be there. Shush are great, but I'm also really looking forward to EM as I was most impressed seeing the acoustic version twice with Ginger. :D

Oops!

I couldn't get to the 12 Bar Club tonight after all - some family stuff came up which I couldn't really get out of. :( I was really looking forward to it as well. :(

Eureka Machines were very good indeed. I'd enjoyed their acoustic set supporting Ginger, and the full electric show was equally as good - some great songs performed very well. Chris is a funny front man - not something I'd ever appreciated when catching Robochrist.

So yes, you missed a treat Dom 8)

I also picked up two demo CDs from the affable bassist and am very glad I did. Their style of music really is right up my alley...if you'll excuse the expression.

Very much looking forward to hearing more of them in the near future.

hee hee, I'm glad to hear it went well and they got down to London without blowing up this time. I think I'm going to have to start betting people sizable amounts of money that they will have their socks blown off if they go see 'em, cos I've not seen them do a duff gig yet.
Saturday was a lot of fun, a lot of giggling going on. I finally got to drag the husband to see their acoustic set and he loved it. Still prefer the full rock onslaught though! 8)
