Anyone else other than me and one other person on the board (sincerest apologise I cant remember your name) remember this late 80s early ninties sketch show?
It never got repeated but finally got relased in one complete boxset two weeks back and it makes me wonder why that show never really took off even though it had four series, it pisses all over the godawful little britain and catherin tate for memorable characters, Mr Don and Mr George, Bert, The Commisioner, The Nice Family, Stoneybridge council, the little girl, Callum Gilhooley (everyone knows one) Mclashan and the songs where fucking hysterical, the guys who directed the music sketches where the guys who directed and produce the Just In Lust Video

Yup, I remember it. Morwenna Banks' little girl skits were great, I remember. Also, didn't Mr Don and Mr George have a very shortlived spinoff series or am i just making shit up cos i'm bored at work and my brain is melting?

They did indeed have a spin off show, and one that sticks in my mind was called you Can Run But You Cant Hide Your Legs.
In the set there are eight dvds and the eighth one is full of fantastic extras, interviews with all the cast, info on where they got the idea for their characters, and for some reason interviews with Ian Hislop, Jo Brand, two asian comedians I've never heard of and Dave Baddiel which has settled many a pub argument with my lot as Ive been saying for years him ad morewenna banks are an item but no-one would have it but its a bit of a coincidence that he turns up on the dvd if they have nothing to do with each other.
If any gets a chance just watch the Suit Song sketch, I first saw it when i was 10 and i thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard or seen and I still do now.
