Each night I pray for the bomb...

Postby VladDracii » 23rd May 08, 15:15

Listen I've been a massive rachel stamp fan for years and years and got everything they done... singles n all... except for BMTH... of rachel stamp.... I only got it on vinyl, and long since has my LP player been out of action...

If anyone has the B-sides off BMTH, "Each night I pray for the Bomb" and "Mike Rowes Christmas Cupboard" can you please send them my way?

Thanks for your time!

I have a tiny, tiny clip of this song. I want a copy too!!

P.M. me your e-mail and I'll send the clip if you want it.

In fact, if you want to sell me your vinyl I could probably rip it to mp3 from there....

That would be great, thank you! I only have the vinyl for 'my sweet rose' but I have 2 copies of it. Don't know why but I think I got 'em free somewhere. Mmm, coloured vinyl. Sweet!

I've got both albums, 'my sweet rose' 7", 'I wanna be your doll' CD single and 'honey/queen of the universe' on CD. I've also got some random mp3s like Carmelita and Pop Singer.

But I'm missing these tracks:
'Sluts & sharks'
'science fiction' (is this a rocky horror cover?)
'Madonna...Cher'
'True Love'
'Don't get Married'
'Each night...'
'Mike Rowe's Christmas Cupboard'
'Baby Baby'
'Please nurse lewis'
'Please don't touch'
'Heroine' (I only have the intro)

If you can help with any of those I'd be extremely grateful.
I've got some random fanzine done by Joe Inferno (Full tilt punk rock scum Vol. 2) which I got signed back in the day.
I love the stamp, I think they were (are?) an amazing band. I tried to buy Spangly Pringles a drink last time I saw him out in London but he said he didn't want one.

Ok, I will do.

I'm going to have to start a list of the people at the Earth vs gig I owe a beer to now. There's another 2 folk I owe a pint to from the acoustic tour as well.

Most of those tracks were collected together on an album called Sweet Shop. I got mine from their website. I loved Rachel Stamp but they were never the same when Robin Guy left.

There's such a thing as too glam? News to me

Speaking of which - VladDracii do you have Sack Trick's version of God of Thunder? Because if you haven't then you need it.

Rachel Stamp have announced a one off gig to tie in with a best of cd/dvd release. It's at Islington Academy on Friday 10th April. And it's with Robin on drums.
This news makes me even happier than the news 'A' were returning to support the Wildhearts. It even makes me happier than Kerbdog's one off London gig earlier this year. There's a blog on their myspace about it with ticket links, none of which have any details of tickets on yet. I just pray now I get a ticket.
