The Wildhearts

This is pretty much a Brit question. There used to be a band called Skin out there in the mid-'90s. Do you like them? How do you feel about them? What do you think of their music? If you could tell them something, what would it be? (No, I'm not associated with the band; someone introduced me to some of their '93 songs.)

i personly like skin and lets face it we'd all look pretty ugly without it.

My memory of Skin was seeing The Wildhearts play after them at Monsters Of Rock 1994 and The Wildhearts being better.

skin were an ok band but why you have started a poll about them and asking such indepth questions about our feelings towards them i'll never know

decent band quite liked a few of their songs...

Because I'm a nerd! I've ALWAYS looked at good bands in depth since I was a young teen. Jeez. We ALL did that around here when I grew up...

skin were a great band - especially live. i went to see them many many times and they always looked like they were having a great time at gigs. i also met them on sevral occasions and they were very nice too.
i went to the final concert ( whcih was recorded for the hasta la vista baby cd) and the played a punked up version of me num mer na by the muppets whilst wearing teletubies masks. that alone made them legends in my eyes.

American girls are in no way homogenous, so no one rule applies to everyone...it's a very different cultural view of sex as I've learned the worst way possible in the past 3-4 years....I'm great for flirting and usually snappy cumbacks...the fanny thing: major cultural difference in the perspectives of acceptability in attitude (told u I'm a nerd)... men don't dominate here; women aren't assigned roles in society nor forced to stick to them... Skin sounds like a fun band which is why I was asking.. I got the impression that their first album was genuine but they sold out after that making them losers musically... I absolutely LOVE a HARD time - if it's with someone I'm close to/approve of. I don't (should I make the joke? Of course I should..) do random. Well, that's a lie; I met him in 2004. where on earth did you get that? Skin were a band that toured constantly, really interracted with their fans and carried on after their label dropped them, releasing stuff independantly. where is the sell out? if you mean because the first album is a slightly different style, i don't get it - surely bands should develop and change over the years?
