Wolfmother RIP

Or at least as the unit they once were. Drummer Myles Heskett and bassist/keyboardist (is that a word? should it be keyboarder?) Chris Ross have keft the band due to "irreconcilable differences". Singer/guitarist Stockdale (forgotten his first name, so lets call him Wasted Opportunity Stockdale) will continue the band with two Americans apparently.
Real arse, cos I loved their first album and thought they were ace live too.
Godsdammit, bands are supposed to hate each other, it's called suffering for your art - get out there and give me a bloody album even if you end up killing each other - it's the rock'n'roll way!
(disclaimer due to weird humour not always coming across in print - that last was tongue-in-cheek)

In the last 24 hours I have discovered that we will be finally be getting a REAL Metallica album after years of dross, picked up Wildhearts tickets when I believed I'd never get to see them again, and found out that Wolfmother are going up in a cloud of phony, salon-afroed fart gas.

Today I am king of the fucking world!

EDIT: FYI beer, 'keyboardist' is the right word. However, for anyone who does it in Wolfmother the term should be amended to: Cunt.
