The Wildhearts

Got an idea for a fun question. Depending on your gender / sexual preference, which Wildheart would you rather be or have sex with? Just for fun.

I'm male.

I'd rather be Ritch before any of them because he's such a solid drummer and seems like he'd be the coolest out of the lot. I reckon he'd sit down, have a beer and talk about everything!

Next would be CJ, there's something about him that's quite interresting, and I don't know what it is, maybe his voice. I'm still interrested in knowing if he has any tattoos.

Then Ginger cause he's the frontman and all that lark. I reckon his life would be the most interresting with drugs, bust ups, solo career, family, things with Danny, his mental illness which I read about on WH.com. I'd love to walk in his shoes for a day.

Then Scott cause I don't know much about him.

I fancy myself a songwriter first and foremost, so I'd rather be Ginger... though more than that I'd rather be me with a 10th of Ginger's talent. No... on second thought, I'd rather like like him and have his voice too.

For what it's worth, I thought it was a good question. Given the number of budding (or more) rockstars / guitarists / musicians in general on this board, I'm sure a lot of people have thought about being a Wildheart.

Even for just a second.

My thoughts;

Ginger - on the plus side, immense talent, great song-writing, great voice. Downside - drugs, suicide attempts, moody (generally), all the stuff he went through in 2004, and never being truly recognised as one of the worlds great songwriters.
Danny - great bassist, always seems to be smiling, good guy all round. Downside - drugs, suicide attempts (possibly)
CJ - Amazing guitarist, great voice, great songwriting. Downside - got sacked!
Ritch - Solid drummer. Good guy. Can't really see any downsides!
Jon - Well, c'mon. Who wouldn't wanna be Jon Poole for a day? Just to know what goes on in the mans head!
Scott - Great bassist, always seems to be smiling. Can't really see any downsides!

I'd rather be Ginger. To go through half the stuff he's been through, and still keep going, gotta be an experience.

Funny, all this reminds me of a Ginger quote from a REALLY old Metal Hamster (actually, it might've been kerrapp!) interview back from 1993/94;

Q (magazine): If you could be anybody who would you be?
A (Ginger): Why would I want to be anybody else? I've only just got used to the idea of being me!

I guess I should answer, too, huh? had to think a long time on this myself. Since I can't wrap my brain around being any of the Wildhearts, I have to take the sex part of the question. I put a lot of thinking into it. I have to say I agree with colzo666 whom I thought had a great answer. For sex, my first choice is Ritch. He seems very cool and open, very important for close interaction. I'd like to think of Scott next, but I don't know much about him, either, and he seems to have many ladies already. I think CJ would be a very senusal affair, but he also seems in plentiful female supply. Ginger would not be on my mental list. I'd be afraid he'd kill me or something. Sorry, Ginge, honest answer.
