Aye il be there, looking forward to it. Havent had a chance to get the new album yet though, gonna try and get through to the town and get it after work one night. Is it any good? Wasnt that keen on People Like Us, had some good moments but as an album i thought it was quite average!

As I told Col when he asked about it, the only word I could come up with was......ordinary
No real stand out tracks for me, apart from the opener (Fuck of and die)

Its pretty much like people like people..... There's no knockout tracks to speak of. I think it's an improvement on people... but only just.
Neil - make yerself known and we can have a drinky. I'm the good looking one that will be stood next to SteveP. You can't miss SteveP, look for the guy with the Fiesta window winder in his hand!!!

Its an improvement alright, the stand out tracks for me are "come undone" and "Zoe is a weirdo".
When I saw them a few weeks ago they played almost the whole album (which was released the day before) so the newer stuff didn't really hit the spot, but as they have said "every song gets better on the road" so by the time they get over to you guy's they should be rockin' a good lot more!!
Oh "Nomadic" really stood out as an ass kickin live track

People at least had two decent singles in Dysfunctional and Mess Age, a couple of alright songs and a true standout track in Heroes an Heroines as far as I'm concerned.
On BYB, I think Degenerated, Come Undone, Drool (anyone else always thinking of The Cult's Fire Woman when listening to this?) and Voodoo Love Bow are quite okay, but most of the other tracks are downright boring. I'm happy for them that the album does so good in Sweden, but I don't think it's a standout.
Still, live, the Babies are always good fun!

saw them in Manchester on Sunday night and both me and the wife were very impressed. very tight musically, and with a knack that you recognised the song even if you had never heard it before. some people may call it formulaic, but I enjoyed it! and Star War did sound fantastic even though it got the most muted response of the night.
