Any one else on here into SYL and anything DT related? My two favourite bands... All rolled into one rather strange way of thinking :D

I don't have much of his stuff, I think SYL is a bit heavy for me, vocally rather than musically.

I was watching the performance of WH at Reading 94 when Danny hurt his knee and it is quite strange having DT's vocals in with Ginger's. I don't think it worked very well, not that he isn't a good singer but his mic was up too loud. Gotta love his enthusiasm for the songs though.

the man's a legend, i've yet to hear a song of his that isn't 100% amazing. his production work is pretty awesome too. just listen to the latest Darkest Hour album if you need proof. or any SYL/DTB stuff for that matter. i'd love to hear a devin-produced wildhearts album!

All time favourite gig was Strapping Young Lad, Devin Townsend Band and Zimmers Hole on one bill at LA2. Absolutely bloody epic!

Hillarious. The housemate is saying "mental metal" covers it.

what's the ziltoid album like? it's about the only dev-related album i'm missing (well, except the rare shit like Hummer and Punky Bruster), and i've put off getting it, thanks to quite a large amount of bad reviews and the general idea that it's a bit of a gimmick album......

hopefully someone can testify otherwise :?

I love the Ziltiod album. It is cheesy but as long as you like a bit of live music (I'm assuming that as you're here) and can accept cheese, you'll love it.
