Oh, very much yes!

The one with the Piano (The Entertainer) is probably my favourite episode. But there really are no bad ones. :D

Bernard Black is my hero.

When filling out job applications I turn in to Bernard doing his tax returns.

I love it.

The favourite for me is the beginning of the episode where Manny can't reach above a certain temperature other it unleashes Daves syndrome and him and the ice cream man look as though they're about to have a shoot out as it's all in slow motion and has something that sounds like it should be out of a spaghetti western being played over the top so as he get up close all the threat and menace dissapears with Manny asking for three 99s

Not seen that DVD extra before so cheers for posting.

I don't think I have laughed as much as when I first saw Manny with the shining light around him dressed in white robes once he had ingested the little book of calm.
Too many fucking bubbles man!

I think Dylan Moran is a great writer but the episodes that shine through for me are the ones he co-wrote with Grahame Linehan cuz Linehan is hell of a writer to just look at his ;previous work,

Big Train (featuring our own Mr Ean), second series wasnt as funny as the first and who didnt happen to help write it, why Mr Linehan,
Father Ted,
The Fast Show.
Brass Eye,
Hippies (Again featuring Mr Ean)
Jam,
He had a hand in the scripts for Alan Partridge to.
And Harry Enflied and Alas Smith and Jones back when they used to be funny.

And apparently he's just started filming the third series of the I.T Crowd to so I, for one, will be a happy camper once that's back on.

I think one of the best episodes is when Mani gets the expresso machine and the box set of The Sweeny from Bernard for his birthday.
The bit in the station when he's explaing to the other cop what he's beed doing and he says he's infiltrating a heavy metal band who are stealing furniture:

"Bastards!"

Defintley in the top 5 sitcoms of all time. (Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development being the others. Although there are many honorable mentions.)
Did you lie to us, Tony?

One of my all time fav comedy programs along with Family Guy, Green Wing, Father Ted, It Crowd, Peep Show, Flight Of The Conchords, Red Dwarf, Young Ones, Bottom and The Mighty Boosh (that was intended to be a three part list but I couldnt bear to leave one out)

The episode with the security door is one of my favs when manny gets distracted by the little football player in the guys hair.
Manny: There was a little man.
Bernard: There was a little man? That's the code?
Manny: No no, I didn't actually hear the code because... he had a little man in his hair.
Bernard: Well the little man in my hair is getting very, very angry. What are you talking about?
Manny: He had a Subbuteo player in his hair! I got distracted!

And then Bernard gets locked out and ends up at the cinema
"Excuse me. There seems to be some sort of mistake. I bought, I bought a drink and some popcorn and now I have no money."

And the shot of Bernard working at Mamba Burger with just that little bit of steam rising in the background is one of the greatest shots in comedy history! (anyone find a decent pic?)

Also the episode where they write a childrens book but then have to burn it cos its too good!
Manny: Well, instead of the? um? academic and the journalist's daughter? um? perhaps it could be about an elephant?
Bernard: An elephant?
Manny: That's right.
Bernard: I see. What's your other suggestion?
Manny: Well? um? instead of the Stalinist purges and the divorce and the investigation, um? it could be about losing a balloon.
Bernard: An elephant who loses his balloon?
Manny: That's it.
Bernard: But, but it would still be my story in essence?
Manny: Oh, yeah.
Bernard: My vision?
Manny: Completely.
Bernard: Yes, all right! Let's do that, then!

Classic show! Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran together is the greatest combination since bread and butter!
Interviewer - "So whats the secret of your longevity?"
Ginger - "Splitting up!"

"Bernard, its hot in the worm."

"School aint shit, I read it in a book"

Black Books was a quality series, and also they have my respect for not milking it and ending after the third series. Yet how come there hasn't been a mention of Spaced yet, which probably according to Mr. Sarc stars our Mr. Ean as well and has got to be my favourite. It just went so far beyond the ordinary sitcom confines.

Has anyone here watched 'How Do You Want Me?', another Dylan Moran series?

When you say your brother do you actualy mean Mr Pegg or do you infact have an actual genuwine bruvva called Simon.

I would have mentioned Spaced but Linehan didnt have a hand in writing it.

100% comedy genius. Plus the fact that Bernard Black's wine consumption makes him one of my all-time heroes.

Going to see Dylan Moran on Friday. Will no doubt come on here on Saturday morning and be totally unable to remember ANYTHING he said.
How dare you!
