I was there last night and saw a poster. He was playing an acoustic guitar. Any idea what these shows are like? It's, like, only 2 weeks away.

I saw his acoustic performance in Sheffield in the autumn last year and it was very good. Worth the effort if you like his solo stuff.

OK I am thinking I have made a mistake. Is this not the former frontman of the Almighty?

basic internet research shows that this is the same guy.

Blimey. So I saw Ricky Warwick, frontman of one of my once-fave bands playing on the back of a truck at some godawful backwater in NI without even knowing it. I think he only played one or two songs - in fact I think he only played the arms of belfast city twice.

Good tune mind.
