w00t!

I just heard GD's new single fot the second time. I like it a lot. It's stuck nicely in my head. I think I shall make the album my first new shiny disc since MH!

Also, have any of you guys head of the Foxboro Hot Tubs? A band made up of GD themselves and other peeps, mainly those who play the backing instruments on the GD tours. I'm listening to them now. They're OK. You can tell they put the main effort into GD and that this is for the most part them just having a bit of a jam. Pretty cool though.

Aye, if you'd caught them a few months back, you could have downloaded most of their album for free. :D

From what I read in Q this month, it was just a fun project to stop them going nuts with the pressure of following up American Eejit.

Check out "The Networks - Money Money 2020", its a similar kinda project from GD although not similar sounding to the Hot Tubs. Worth a listen though.

the free half of the Foxboro Hot Tubs album that i've heard is easily better than the whole of american idiot! also, The Network did a pretty badass cover of the Misfits' "Teenagers from Mars" which is worth checking out.

if you like that Foxboro Hot Tubs album, you should also check out a band called Death on Wednesday - very similar (if not better!) stuff, and the singer sounds like a punk rock morrissey! their album "buying the lie" and the "songs to ____ to" ep are well cheap on amazon, and their drummer is now drumming for the bronx.

Love them both, I think Stop Drop & Roll is a great album. And the new Green Day single is good, I heard it today for the first time. The new album is definatly going to be purchased soon after it comes out. :)
