serves him right for dancing about like a twat. he might be able to conceal his age in their videos, but there he looked just like the sad act aging rocker-types you see drunkenly dancing at gigs/bars and freaking out people less than half their age...

doesnt serve him right at all, he wasnt being a twat in the slightest thats just how he is on stage and calling him so was completely un-fucking-called for.

Well said Sarc. Reminds me of a mate years ago when he said if you are over the age of 30 then you shouldn't be in a band. He refused to see Judas Priest for this reason/excuse. I laughed his ridiculous theory off. Very stupid idea. Think he must of being watching Logan's Run.

seems i can't post a single thing on this forum without you throwing a shit fit or having a go at me. well, IN MY OPINION (and what is a forum if not a place to discuss and exchange ideas and opinions?), tyler is completely past it, his stage-moves have always been fucking retarded and contrived, and ultimately, if a 60 year old is gonna twat about like that on one of those catwalk stage-extension things with not much room to manouver, he's asking for trouble. yeah, the resultant injuries are a bit harsh, but it's not like it's anyone's fault but his own.

EDIT - andy, it wasn't an age thing, it's a knowing-your-limits thing. remember the guys from iron maiden aren't far off that age, but they manage to throw themselves about on stage without looking like pissed up tramps, and thus don't fall arse over tit off the edge of it.

I think if Ginger could show anything like that energy and enthusiasm to entertain at 61 we'd all be applauding him and sympathising with any injuries he got in the process, however he'd managed it, as I suspect you probably would too. Meanwhile, the people who deride Ginger as an obnoxious no-talent over-the-hill rock prick (of whom there are already quite a few) would show zero sympathy for, maybe even celebrate his injuries and say 'serves the twat right', a view which you would presumably condemn.

I think Tyler's one of rock's true natural frontmen and find his stage moves very entertaining. I don't think they're contrived, I think they're a natural expression of his exuberance and athleticism. From what I've heard, the guy was apparently trying his best to entertain the crowd during technical hitches that had killed the sound. I mean, what a cunt, eh? :)

I wasnt knocking your opinion, youre entitled to think hes over the hill im sure you're not the only one on this board that thinks so but to say he was a twat was uncalled for, that was what i was knocking, while the 'Smith (as i like to call 'em) may not be the sort of thing I listen to as some of their stuff is a bit to bluesy for me (though Other Side is a fucking stormer) I cannot deny the fact they're damned talented and to still be doing it after all these years and pulling in the crowds night after night is damned impressive. Metallica in the other hand...................... :P

So Tyler - Talented - Very much so
Twat - certainly not

I seem to remember that members of Iron Maiden have been known to fall off the edge of the stage in the past...

it all depends on what floats your boat or sinks it as the case may be....im with spoon of grimbo on this one ...he looked like a twat....but then again i hate contrived posturing and prefer spontaneous natural talent....but i think thats a minority view on a WH board by the nature of their appeal...eg i found Michael Monroes performance live with the WH footage on here totally naff... but the concensus was it was bril...especially the rig climbing...
