'lo

Haven't been round for a little while, but that's cos me and the one they call Trudi have been hard in training (ok, trying to be hard in training) to do the Great North Run. Dressed as Badgers. Oh, the hilarity. Anyway, we're doing this 'cos we love the one they call Trace more than we love chocolate, so if you'd like to support us and help us raise a load of dosh for cancer research, please go to www.madasbadgers.org and click on the "donate" or "sponsor us online" button.

Thanks!!

Thanks :D

We are both somewhat knackered today...the constumes remained intact and the hats stayed on til the end, but we're both walking like arthritic pensioners!

Huge huge huge thanks to Trace and Chris for putting up with me and Jason for the weekend, you are fabulous and we love you! Also well done Taz for being the fastest badger in the race!

If anyone's interested, I've put my review of it on the blog at http://www.madasbadgers.org, and it's not too late to sponsor us

Now, where did I put that Deep Heat?

Trudi xx

Congratulations you two! Some money will be heading your way this evening.

I hereby suggest that anyone who wouldn't be prepared to run as a badger in the Great North Run themselves should do exactly the same.

words cannot adequately express how much i love these two loonies, nor the pride i feel cuz i can call them my friends.

one day, no-one will ever hafta go thru what me, my family & wonderful friends are goin' thru right now; that will be due to people like trudi & taz runnin' cuz they love another human bein' more than they HATE runnin'. but more than that, they've been thru all of it knowin' that the money raised will probly benefit people they'll never meet more than it'll benefit me.

that's not t'say it's not helped me...no indeed...the fact that my friends would put themselves thru all of that cuz of me, has strengthened my resolve an' inspired me to fight this shitty disease even harder...once the guilt wore off, that is....

i salute you, pair of demented badgers that you are, yer my heroes.

folks, give them your respect, give them your applause, but most importantly...give them yer money! :D
