Just Oxford.

Can't believe you guys can afford to go to so many gigs, to be honest.

Although I am a student I guess.

Southampton & Manchester for me

To be honest Southampton was a mixture of shite & weird (it felt more like a converted house than a proper venue)...in fact after the Southampton show I was worried that I was witnessing the demise of the Wilhearts......until I went to the Manchester gig and everything was back to normal! (ie, loads of fans, proper atmosphere, proper venue etc)

Did anyone else go to Southampton? Was it just me or was it crap? (Not The Wildhearts themselves....just everything else about the gig - venue, atmospehere etc)

You take that back, The Brook is a classy venue, frequented by many tribute acts! ;-)

That said, take a look at this page http://www.the-brook.com/ and scroll down to LIQUIDATORS APPOINTED TO THE BROOK :-( :-( :-(

Seriously, I was surprised that the Wildhearts decided to play there. I guess that they are still searching for a decent venue in Southampton since Ginger played at Nexus and about 12 people turned up. I saw that gig as more of a "let's ramp up the tour slowly by playing in a small venue so not many people will see us fsck it up". And I'm not complaining that they played within walking distance of my house :-D
In an ideal world there'd be no time for ideals.
