got myself a ticket to this, but listening to the album i nearly didnt bother going.

glad i did though :)

cracking to see ginger smiling again (is it just me or is ginger starting to look his age now?)

missed the support (from the pics i'm kinda glad) but the gig was superb, loved all the bass, loved the songs (even thought i didnt know most of them) it definatly sounds better live

what happened to the girl who was singing in the first song (black trousers, white top) she disapeared not to be seen again after that.

connie bloom looks like the spitting image of ginger, and Mr Random should be made an rock god of the first order :D

only thing that spoiled it for me were the drunk/stone idiots at the front who started crowd surfing, and some numpty who was pogoing with no sense of balance :(

still, roll on the next north east gig :D

Did Ginger, Jon and Tim do a set at Legends?
Coz when I got in there, first turn on was the Cyborgs and Jimmy Krankie.

there was a couple of blokes with skin heads near me at the front who kept trying to crowdsurf. Why? It was clearly obvious there wasn't enough density in the crowd for such carrying on. If one of those heavy cunts landed on you it would really fucking hurt.

Actually - no, he didn't. He donated it to someone else (not me).

Corker of a gig. Sound and stage show wise there was no WAY they were gonna beat Bradford for me - but hanging around at the back talking to all the mad'uns plus the giggles we had after the show just made it for me.

and a big WOOOOOOOO to the people who came to talk to me just because I was wearing a plan a shirt - if you're on here give us a shout - specially the guy at the end of the night who said I had impeccable taste but managed to completely confuse random into the bargain, top comedy moment!!

Liverpool tomorrow for me - though HOW it's gonna even try to compare to Bradford and Newcastle I've no idea, dont think it can be done- was grinning like a lunatic all the way home and most of this morning too. Weekends just dont GET any better, hehe!

No there was no Tim, Random and Ginger, just straight into the Cyborgs. They might be alternating as apparently it was the opposite last nite at Wolves.

Andy, was it you that shouted Fandabidozeee? It was a quality shout, one I would have been proud of myself.

Zo
It was me who gave Random the pressie and I spoke to you when you were sat next to us (about PlanA etc). Dunno if it was me confusing Random tho, I was quite pissed by that time. I took Mrs Col along and she proved to be quite handy by getting me pints while the band were on.

Another quality moment was when I looked up and saw my mate in the VIP area with the band. I said to the security guy at the bottom of the stairs "tell that cunt to get down here" and Conny Bloom came down the stairs to talk to me!!

lol, yeah it was you who completely confused him!

He didn't realise that you'd been talking to me earlier, and then you mentioned about good taste and plan a and random, the look on his face was an absoloute picture! Made perfect sense to me mind you, though I had to explain it to him later on!! Bless, he might be mad as a hatter but he's easily confused!!

oh, and I was talking to Tim Smith later on too - been a cardiacs fan for a good few years, was thoroughly made up to find out that he's a genuinely lovely guy and a top laugh - made my night that did!!

:D

So are you Mrs Random then Zo?

It was a top nite but I paid heavily for it hangover - wise yesterday. I had my head hanging out the mini bus window all the way home, was desperate for fresh air as I was ready to decorate the bus.

I thought Random had come downstairs for a natter at one point but he only wanted a piss as there was no toilets upstairs.

Just to echo sentiments... yeah, newcastle and bradford were both top nights... certainly helped to take the edge of finding out that I'm out of a job soon on Friday morning... honestly, employers have no sense of timing! Hi to Col - I was sitting with Zo downstairs, but wasn't really talking to people as I was in a bit of a funny mood. Gutted I can't do any more of the shows... isn't it time they announced the next set of dates???
