Ginger will be playing an acoustic show as part of the Forth On The Fringe festival upfront of his forthcoming acoustic tour. He'll be perfoming on the same bill as Athlete on 18th August at The Underbelly in Edinburgh. The tickets are free and you can ONLY obtain tickets by one of two methods shown below:

Forth One 97.3 will be giving away half of the tickets to listeners on the day BEFORE the gig (17th August) so tune in to find out how to get them. Competition winners and their guest should collect wristbands in person from the Smirnoff Underbelly box office.

Half the tickets will be given away at the Smirnoff Underbelly on the day of the gig. These tickets will be released at 8.00PM and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. To stop improper trading of the free tickets they will be issuing wristbands. As a result, each person must collect the wristband in person - only one wristband per person.

Gut Records are looking to setup a Wildhearts street-team dedicated to promoting the band, building from the regional teams setup earlier in the year and need your help! To get involved please send your details to website@thewildhearts.com and we'll send them forward to Gut Records. Please supply your name, email address and postal address.

The Wildhearts will be playing a warm-up show for their Bulldog Bash appearance. The band play the Sugarmill - Stoke on Trent on Thursday 7th August, before their headline slot at the Bulldog Bash the next day.

The Wildhearts feature on UK TV on TOTP2 on Tuesday 8th July. The show begins at 18:20 and is set to feature classic Wildhearts single Sick Of Drugs as voted for by visitors to the TOTP2 website.

The Wildhearts appearance at the Bulldog Bash has now been confirmed. The band will headline the main stage on Friday 8th August. For more details see the Bulldog Bash website.

Andy Cairns has been in the studio with the Wildhearts as reported by the Therapy website last week, to work on the song 'Get Your Groove On' from the forthcoming album 'The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed'.

Says Ginger: "We had Andy Cairns come and do a metal styled political rant about peaceful tactics in the face of anger. Kim Nail (who sang with Marilyn Manson, and provided backing vocals on "A Better Man" from the singles club collection) provided an entire gospel choir from one mouth, and Justin Hawkins, from The Darkness came and sang like only the finest in the land could ever hope to even attempt."

Two live shows have now been confirmed for early July, at Harlow Square on the 3rd and Guildfest on the 4th. For more details see the gigs page.

The latest single 'So Into You' has entered the UK singles charts at number 22. Thanks go to all those who have supported it by both buying the single and requesting it wherever possible!
