Every Thursday, beginning April 3rd, I'll be appearing at Piano's with the best players in New York. Only the creme de la soul will be playing, with myself, YOUR favourite songs from my huge stash of choons.

Okay, okay, I get to decide exactly which songs are your favourite songs, but that's besides the point.

I'll be playing crazed up versions of my (er, your) absolute toppest tracks from my catalogue with various musicians, using various styles, with various instruments, from people with various hair-cuts. Most likely different people every week. Depending on who's the best people for the job that week. Every week.

The Wildhearts will now be playing at The Metal Heart Rock Festival in Lillehammer, Norway on Friday 15th August 2008

The Wildhearts have been confirmed to appear at this years Summer Breeze Festival in Germany on Thursday 14th August 2008.

The Wildhearts gig at the Hook in Brooklyn on Friday 19th October has had to be moved to another venue (Club Exit) due to the original venue (The Hook) unexpectedly closing. The full info from the promoter is below:

Hey guys - this is for everybody who bought tickets to the Wildhearts gig at the Hook. If you know anybody else who was planning on coming to this show, we HIGHLY recommend forwarding this along.

SO. Ha. We're in a little bit of a tight spot. We'd booked this phenomenal show at the Hook, where we've held so many ridiculously awesome shows in the past, and then the Hook CLOSED. We still want to have the show, obviously, so we've simply moved it to Club Exit. It's still in Brooklyn, right off the G in Greenpoint, not terribly difficult to get to and still fairly awesome. The Wildhearts are coming all the way from ENGLAND; there was no way we were cancelling this gig. We're still bringing along all the openers - Generals & Majors, Children of the Unicorn, the Matt Truman Ego Trip, et al. We'd never let you guys down.

Blaze Bayley, Jase Edwards, Jeff Hateley and Steve 'Danger' Ellett will be reforming for their first UK tour in 13 years when they take to the stage as very special guests for The Wildhearts. New Wildhearts single The New Flesh is released on Monday 1st October. The CD version is backed with 2 b-sides: Unbroken and Oh Bonita! whilst the 7" version is on white vinyl and has Unbroken as the b-side.
