What’s it like joining The Wildhearts and how are you enjoying it so far?

Joining The Wildhearts has been great! I’ve been really good friends with Ginger for a while now and it’s cool that we finally get to work together. The 4 of us get on really well and work really well together. We goof around like a bunch of kids but work really hard when it’s time to. It’s nice to join a band that I’ve been a fan of and feel like I’ve always been there!

The Wildhearts will be playing at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on December 17th (GINGERS BIRTHDAY!)

Music from The Wildhearts new album features in an entertaining online game from killerviral: Sheeps of Rage. The game contains 3 levels packed with sheep to defeat, each level featuring a different song from the album. You can also pick up weapons to help your quest, including my personal favourite: the mint sauce gun.

Lyrics for the newly released Wildhearts album are now available in the revamped lyrics section, along with the lyrics from the Ginger albums Valor Del Corazon and Yoni. More lyrics to be added over the coming weeks.

The new Wildhearts self-titled album is released tomorrow (Mon 23rd Apr). The album is available from Amazon, iTunes, Cargo Records and is available in UK record shops.
‘The Wildhearts’ has been hailed as a classic with RockSound magazine rating it 10/10, while the Sun rate it 5/5, describing it as ‘probably the rock album of the year’.

As reported previously, the Wildhearts will be appearing on Rocksound TV. The Wildhearts appearance is part of Rocksound.TV episode 5 which also features Shadows Fall and Botch. Broadcast times for the first week are as follows:
Saturday 14th April – 6pm
Sun 15th – 12 noon
Sun 15th – 9pm
Mon 16th – 3pm
Tues 17th – 5pm
Wed 18th – 12 noon
Wed 18th – 8pm
Thurs 19th – 3pm
There will be further showings for the three weeks following that as the Rocksound show plays for a month. The time in the day and the day of the week Rocksound goes out will always be the same as above, just a different date.

In response to speculation about the download only single ‘The Sweetest Song’, Ginger has confirmed that it’s a one song taster, but (for any completionists out there) the version that will appear on this exclusive download will not appear on the album, nor will it be released in any format again.
