That was erm, interesting, That bloke was really pushing it with the drug questions considering how strict they are in the States with that sort of thing, too many questions about drugs me thinks and not enough about the stuff that matters.

Still our lad was on form though wasn't he!

Doesn't he look well? And happy as well, aw...

Yeah, strange line of questioning. Let's talk about a load of stuff that has nothing to do with the music and what's happening now, then in the final 5 seconds say oh yeah there's a record out too. Top class journalism there.

It's nice the interviewer is obviously a fan of the band, but he did seem a bit of a tit.

A bit? :?

I don't think he did seem that much of a fan, he just came across as one of the gushing tv presenter types (ie a Twat) who just suck up to who theyre interviewing and don't actually know a single thing about them other than what their researchers have told them.

Are there any Yankee Doodles on here that can say whether this is a popular show, is it seen by many people?

I didn't mind that, seemed to give him the chance to speak which is odd in lairy interviews.

Good exposure for USA. Bit too pushy on the drug front (scuse the pun), but Ginger fielded the questions admirably and comically.

Is Ginger actually getting younger?????

I'd never heard of the show before now, to be honest. Fox News has a certain reputation, as well, that makes this seem (to me, anyway) like an uncharacteristic sort of thing for them.

Yes I thought that were very crass indeed. Wouldn't really expect a lot more from a hyperbolic gentleman such as himself. But at least he was asking the questions no one else would.

Very good.

I can't say I'm entirely surprised you've never heard of it. I wouldn't imagine that even the most persistent of insomniacs are watching FoxNews at 3am when the show goes out.

From the show's Wiki :-

The show begins with Gutfeld's introduction of his guests, usually with either couched or explicit sexual inferences about each of them, often double entendres. The show is peppered with such inferences, sometimes including obscene imagery.

What's not to like!? Image

Doesn't Fox have the reputation as being watched by people who believe whatever Rupert Murdoch tells them? In which case, having been told that they're one of the best bands in the last 4000 years, we can clearly expect a huge popularity surge in the US as people rush out to buy the entire back catalogue... possibly. Image

According to his bio, the presenter seems to have spent some considerable time working in the UK, so it's not inconceivable that he already knew of the band.

In US politics, Fox News has a reputation for being severely biased toward the right-wing/conservative/republican (George Bush, John McCain, Ronald Reagan) side of things.

He does look well, I thought that at the "Earth vs.." gig. Must be the sober lifestyle and I think the lack of facial hair makes him look younger.

Re: all the drugs talk, I was never that interested in this side of the band, I don't mind hearing the odd anecdote but it can be overkill sometimes.

I read Slash's biography recently and the chapters where he talked about the music, the songwriting, how they came up with Paradise City whilst driving to a gig etc were far more interesting than the most of the drugs stories.
