I don't know. I agree that the camping area is a nightmare - I'm in the local Travelodge this year, and I LIKE camping (even at festivals) anywhere else.
But I really like what has been announced so far for the most part. My theory is this - although The Wildhearts are a rock band, Ginger is clearly a man totally in love with pop and this is obvious in their music. So I see them as the middle of the line (NOT the middle of the road), where some fans' other tastes in music go popwards and other are more in it for the metal. And if it's the latter, the current Reading bill (which is barely a fifth of the bands) is not going to do it for you. Whereas if you're a Franz Ferdinand nut like myself, it's looking good so far.
It's pretty bad how much the price has gone up this last few years, but sadly they know they'll get away with it because of demand. Pfff.
