Please Sponsor Me for Leukaemia Research

Postby gingerob » 28th Feb 07, 22:15

Hello,

I'm taking part in the London Bikeathon 2007 on 15/07/2007 to raise money for Leukaemia Research and would really welcome your support.

Please take a moment to sponsor me. It's really easy - you can donate online by credit or debit card at the following address:

http://www.justgiving.com/gingerbike

All donations are secure and sent electronically to Leukaemia Research. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will automatically reclaim 28% Gift Aid on your behalf, so your donation is worth even more. Please join me in supporting Leukaemia Research and a fabulous cause.

Thanks and best wishes,
Rob

Just to keep everyone updated. I have raised over £1700 so far with a month to go i am hoping to make my target of 2K by then. I have a few people who have said they they are going to sponsor me but haven't got round to it yet so I think I'll remind them again soon. My firm have said they will give me £500 too so i will beat it but I'm trying to get 2K before my firm's donation. Thanks for every ones help.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I am doing this ride tomorrow and I have raised £2300 so far and I'm trying to reach my target of £2500 and would be great to reach it by the time I do it. so please fell free to look at www.justgiving.com/gingerbike and even if you can only spare £1 I would be so grateful.

Thanks
Rob

Hi,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone again for helping me raise in the region of £3500. I attended the London Bikeathon awards last night and received the award for biggest individual fundraiser. I received and nice little cup and a certificate from Gary Lineker who hosted the evening. I couldn't have done it without all of your help so thanks again and the money raised should be able to help them continue the work they do at Leukaemia Research and hopefully one day find a cure.
I'll see if I can post a picture soon.
I am aiming to do the 52mile course next year so will be after sponsorship again nearer the time and I am hoping to retain my title as highest individual fundraiser.
Thanks
Rob
