New Japanese tour t-shirts... think one of them has lost a little something in translation!

Lots of repro shirts and badges/stickers etc too.

Nice...

never mind

Postby schocksmile » 5th Mar 07, 20:04

Damn. I remember seeing a pic of Ginge in Kerrang (was it 96? Phoenix Fest?)
wearing one of those "never mind the headliners..." shirts and thinking
that this is probably the coolest shirt ever. That shirt has balls.
Particularly if you´re actually opening for the reunited Pistols :)

Yep, Phoenix 96. I was there and I actually had one of the originals. Sadly yellow really isn't my colour and I only wore it a handful of times. No idea where it now resides

Yep, me too. I'm fairly sure that that particular shade of yellow isn't anybody's colour. Only the Terrorvision shirt with the fluorescent tyre print up the back (from the same festy season), is less tastefully hued.

Like much of that festival I have only vague memories of the TV shirt. It was bloody hot though so I was glad to have something other than my darker shade of black wardrobe!

Around the same time I had a simaler themed t-shirt with "Never Mind The Bullshit Lets Have Sex" on it. Needless to say it had a zero point pulling record

The pistols parody shirt is truly amazing... I wish I had money to buy it.
Isn't it ironic that not many people know the meaning of the word esoteric?

not sure which one that is, but you've made me recall the carter usm "worry bomb" shirts (& album cover" which were a fairly horrible fluorescent green - i think they were making an effort to get away from the tag of a "t-shirt band" by picking a colour nobody would buy :P

Hang on... *nips upstairs to take a piccy*

Ok, it's white, but I'm pretty sure there was a grey one too - had to dig this one out. I haven't seen it in 10 years. :?

Design's still horrible though...

It used to be a lot brighter before it got washed.
