It's a picture of The Wildhearts as they appear in 2007, Ean.

A good solid topic, this. No faffy-arsed buggering about. Does exactly what it says on the tin. And doesn't care who knows it.

But as it's from a piece of artwork that presumably took the guy quite a while, I'd argue that it's probably how they looked in late 2006.

Hey Col, where did you get the pic from? 'Cos it's slightly different from the one on WH.com :-

2006?

In that case this topic is an utterly shameless swizz of a sham!

And to think I once held it in such dear regard! :)

I just think the typeface they've chosen is kinda boring, would much prefer the typeface used on the PHUQ era covers, would suit the classier look of the cover more than that boring font =( </graphicdesignstudentwhinge)>

The boys at cargo are top notch i ordered a couple of cd's from them last month they came the next day

Awesome customer service (i'm hoping they get the new album out to us a couple of days before the official release day)

They did with Howling Willie and Yoni. I've got the release day booked off work so that I can just sit in the house with some cans and listen to the album non-stop.

Shit, I just realised how much of a geek that makes me sound.

Having said that, I booked two days off when the Star Wars films came out on DVD.....

Pshaw, that's nothing. My friend's ex took a week off work when one of the Zeldas came out.

And I heard about someone who jacked in their job when the last Final Fantasy arrived.

And let's not even start on the threat to cashflow (and circadian rhythm) that World Of Warcraft seems to be for some people.

Fair point. They're much more geeky than me. The only threat to cashflow I have (other than the ever-rising price of lager) is that Ginger seems to release another album every 12 minutes!!
