What with it only being on my crappy pc speakers, I can only barely make out the guitar bit I think your getting at...are we thinking the kinda sounds you get at the start of "War" or am I thinking in the wrong direction here?

Yeah which guitar bits sound like Devin Townsend then? I'm a huge fan of Mr Hevy Devy, me, so I can't believe I missed it!

Oh and I'd like to second whoever said that the vocals are great. Ginger and CJ harmonising together is pretty much the best thing since the Beach Boys.
In an ideal world there'd be no time for ideals.

Because Ginger asked us not to upload any songs until the album is released

Pie/chris, I was talking about the staccato riff that plays under and doubles up the 'na na na's (Or in technical language, 'DAH-DAH! DAH-DAH! DAH!-DAH! DAH-DAH! DAH! DAH!')

It didn't remind me of any Dev song in particular, there was just something about the riff and its tempo that made it seem like the kind of thing he'd write - more a 'feel' thing, if you get what I mean. Actually, I put on Infinity earlier (More than anything, so I could find out if I knew what I was talking about!) and the riffs in Truth def. have that feel. Just though it mitght be a cool little way DT's influence has rubbed off on Ginger

now, what're the sodding lyrics?

cocksucker fucker
the way, the pain
doing the rounds again
getting pounded down the sound baby
*bleep* your own desire
and you chnage your mind
if you could turn back time

something *bleep* something *bleep*
something something....

I heard the song
I heard the sweetest song that hit me
I heard the song
I heard the sweetest song that hit me
and it went:
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

...
...also answers to 'Luke'.

Niiiice logo!

As for the first half of the verse, I'm hearing something like

cocksucker fucking away the pain
doing the rounds and get
[bound hill] (?) down in the south baby
*bleep* and [something] in your own design
and you would change your mind if you could turn back time

... as for the rest of the verses, I'm hearing exactly the same as you.

Cocksucker fuckin' away the pain
Doin' the rounds again
bound and down in the south baby (i didnt get that until it was here)
<bleep> that you picked in your own design,
and you can change your mind
If you can turn back time

Takin the piss
That other man you kissed
Every cock you took, you fucked, you did (?)
You knew what I'd put up <something.> hooked dried and left out to die
your corpse aint gonna be missed

<chorus>

I've been singing the chorus all day. I went to the shop earlier, and the woman who served me looked at me like I was a nutter. Not sure why. You'd think they'd be used to people buying booze and singing "nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah"
How dare you!

i've been singing it all week, the missus is trying it on to say that the new bjork single is better than it, i'm like yeah its good but is it the sweetest song, the sweetest song that hit you? no, cos thats the wildhearts!

although the na na na na na na bit does sound a bit like all the small things by blink 182. which, y'know, is alright :P

Can't say i'm too surprised it didn't make the charts.

Most folk(like me) would still rather buy cd singles than download them on to a pc.I never play music on my pc as my stereo is too good to ignore while my pc sounds crap.

I've only heard The Sweetest song preview.

Had it been released on cd i'm sure it would have been top 20.
