That review is a complete rip off of the other reviews of the album.

What a joker.

Is it some sort of mistake I'm wondering? I mean they call it the best collection of songs since Earth vs. Surely it has to get at least 4k's then because that's what PHUQ got. In fact, the original Fishing For Luckies fan club edition got 5k's did it not?

From the blend of slight reservations with the use of words like 'genius,' 'greatness' and 'brilliance,' it sounds like it should be a 4K review. :?

Although we've already proved on this site that a 3K review is actually preferable to a 4K or 5K review.

Hmmm. Have other reviews been similar (I know about the Rocksound one)?

"christ! i've turned into a hippie!"

ginger has once again worn his heart on his sleeve in an interview. hope he doesn't regret it.
why do i have to ignore you to get your attention?

Hmmm. Yes it deserves more than 3Ks but then we would say that wouldn't we?

But... gonna be controversial here. On about my 10th listen and this opinion will no doubt change with time but... so far I'm agreeing with the comment about there not being a stand-out classic on this album that compares with some of the instant genius highlights of the past.

So far, I'm finding chunks of this album pretty hard work. But then again, they're often the ones that are the most rewarding over time. I can also see the point about the couple of filler tracks in the second half.

Moments of genius? Yes they're there. Sweetest Song is a gig singalongagogo slightly let down by the lack of any tune in the verse, Revolution would be a great single, in fact I'd release it ahead of New Flesh, and Destroy All Monsters has some classic twists and turns. Riffs - there's millions of 'em, and I love Ginger riffs, but I'm feeling bludgeoned to death at the moment and - this is the crux - not actually singing along to very much yet.

All opinions subject to change over the next few listens.

Just my 2p worth.

3 K's is a little disappointing but then again it feels like the review was written by a slightly positive, intelligent, coherent emo kid

After about four listenings today i`ve got to give the album full 5 k credit , i think that it`s just a bit of a grower , like Jasonh said bit of an overload really on first listening but damn does it get better. Favourite track to date Slaughtered Authors but then i`m a sucker for bass driven songs with catchy chorouses, shit that means i love this album!!!

I've listened to it 3 times.....no way is it a 3K'er. Without doubt a 4K'er with definate potential to become a 5k'er.
