so the new album - what are those special moments?
mine are (today at least)

you're gonna get it when you don't see it coming

the bit when revolution changes pace - standin etc.

the quo style solo on hard way

the verse harmonies on d.a.m
why do i have to ignore you to get your attention?

They are two of my fav moments aswell.

IN THE DARK WHEN THE HERO'S CHEERED , I GAVE MY HEART WHEN THE VILLAN APPEARS , and then the chours is just amazing.

In Bi Polar Baby , the pre chorus things, "Im Up In The Air And Down On My Knees"

ooo and about a 1000 more moments , there all f'ing immense.

The opening build up and main riff of Hard way. One of THE best wildhearts songs ever to play loud, it just builds fucking brilliantly. Really love the song (tho still annoyed it doesn't go into a 2nd verse and goes off riff-wanking instead :()

Love the key change in Revolution, got a very very catchy verse melody anyway :)

All of bi-polar baby :D "What makes you think psychosis is appealing anyway?........I just gotta say goodbye bi-polar baby " Love the way it flows into the chorus. Nice noisey riff aswell.

Plenty of other little bits but atm those 3 songs stand out for me. Love the New flesh verse aswell, nice lyrics

Second round of "I'm standing at the edge of the world. There's chaos in the city as the capitol burns".

"I wanted Tweety Pie crucified.I'm rooting for the bad guy" Very powerful.

"Armageddon orchestrated, televised and exaggerated." Classic CJ harmony vocals.

The whole "feel" of Inner City Overture

Inner City Overture... Particularly the breakdown vocal harmony where the bass kicks back in. Lovely! It reminds me of another WH tune. Can't think which right now... Possibly a b-side, particularly the intro.

The pre-chorus to Bi Polar Baby is particularly fantastic.

The verse riff from The Sweetest Song.

The Revolution will be Televised. All of it. And "The Gates of the West" Clash-geek-frenzy!

I love the intro to Slaughtered Authors, great bass sound.

The first chorus (if you could call it that) of Destroy All Monsters, with the scream DESTROY!!!!

Something about the
" well I'm thinking I used to love ya', I just can't think what part of ya' oh ohhh"

part strikes a chord

Little Earthquakes? Is someone here a Tori Amos fan? Her new album, American Doll Posse, is out on Monday. Plug over.

I knew she had a new album on the way, but didn't realise it was Monday. Right... Brownie points for getting that for the GF.

For me top moments are the post-chorus bits of Destroy All Monsters. The

Clap) put it on red, (mad) you're fucked in the head, (back) busy in a bed, and I said...

(Jack) pretty in pink, (pink) your shit don't stink, (think) think I wanna drink, and that's it.

bit.

Also the vocals on the chorus of Inner City Overture. 'no-one even heard their city crying', with CJ's backing vocals sounded amazing.

Maybe I should be worried but today the lyrics i can't shake are:

I wanna take this knife and jam it right through your heart.
I wanna tear your fucking world apart.

I started a previous 'best bits' topic, which I called 'Little Earthquakes' on a whim to capture the big effect that brief song moments can have on you. And yeah, I got it from Tori Amos, who I like too.

OH, I forgot about:
"3-6-9 she looks so fine. She´s gonna make a monkey of you.
It´s just a matter of time. DESTROYED.....".
Like The Hulk exploding from under a smoking pile of fallen debris...

Darn, didn´t know that. Thanx for pointing that out. I´ve been in love with her ever since
Under The Pink and absolutley worship Scarlet´s Walk. I´m not a Tori-fanatic though -
