Last night was a really good gig. The band were really tight, and Scott Sorry was fantastic. In terms of showmanship, he is by far the best Wildheart ever on stage.
On-stage banter was kept a minimum, and most songs flowed into one another - which I fucking love. I mean why stop at the end of the song to say stuff like "hey Cardiff" or "this song is blah blah"? The best example of this was Nexus Icon going straight into Sick of Drugs.
The only quibble was that there were only two new songs played last night.
Support acts GU Medicine were pub-rock, but the Icelandic band Sign were really ace. Shame that the audience didn't really take to them (with the exception of their cover of Skid Row's 'Youth Gone Wild'.)
