Jackdaw4 update and FREE MP3

Postby jackdaw4 » 28th May 07, 12:54

Hi,

Here is the latest from Jackdaw4

I know it has been a while since we have been in touch, but rest assured we have not been lazy.

Willie has continued to blog at MySpace, giving some insight into
what you might be able to expect from the forthcoming album, 'Bipolar
Diversions'. http://www.myspace.com/jackdaw4

For those of you that have not yet bought Jackdaw4's debut album, 'Gramophone Logic', it is now available on iTunes.

Of course those of you that prefer a CD can purchase the album from our shop.

We have also updated the website, adding some new information.
http://www.jackdaw4.com/

We have started to narrow down the tracks that will make the second album, 'Bipolar Diversions'. We will be writing with more information about the album soon.

One of the tracks that we could not find a place for on the album is 'Big Boys', and so we are giving it away for FREE.

We have moved to a new mailing list system, which we hope is more consistent than the old one. If you are already signed up you should have received a message asking you to update your information, which will give you access to the FREE MP3.

If you have not signed up just visit http://www.jackdaw4.com/ and sign up. When you confirm your subscription you will get access to the FREE MP3.

We hope you enjoy the track.

More soon

rob

I was going to post that if you hadn't. No such thing as too much Howling Willie Dowling, and a new track's always welcome. Predictably it's good.

Thank you Damien,

I see you have Clearlake in your sig... I love that band. Just wish I didn't have to wait for a new album from them. I always thought they should try and get Chris Goss to produce them. I just think it would work...

Clearlake are in my sig as I run their website! The plan is for both the fourth album and a solo album from Jason Pegg to appear within the year. As for producers, at one point they had said Tim Smith (of Cardiacs fame) was possibly going to do some stuff with them, but I don't know what came of that...

PS. I once sent Jason a compilation for Christmas with "The Day I Wrote The Book" on it. I hope he liked it! I know he liked the CD but no idea of what he thought of individual tracks...

Blimey...

Just how good is the Jackdaw4 album going to be if this track didn't make the cut???

May I please just recommend that EVERYONE downloads this, like, NOW?

It's THAT good.
