Gillingham, Kent. the real shitsville.

first song i heard was nexus icon, my mate gave me a bag (i kid you not, a bag!) of albums to listen to and amongst all this was Must be Destroyed. my introduction to the world of Ginger.
and that's the only thing i'm going to say.

Detroit Town, USA.

First heard the band when I picked up Earth vs... for 99 cents in the bargain bin at Record Time about 10 years ago. I said, "WTF!!!!!!!" and immediately spent a bazillion dollars ordering every import I could find.

I met Ginger at the Darkness show at Clutch Cargos. My friend said to Ginger, "Tommy is personally responsble for at least 30 people being at this show." Ginger thought that was so cool he ended up buying me a bottle of Newkie. Fuckin' A.

Next to Heathrow airport

My older brother was into Wildhearts when I was about 5 so I can't remember the first song of theirs I heard. But the song that caught my attention and made me want to hear more Wildhearts (when I was 12 and grew out of pop) was Ride The Wave
Angels on the sideline; puzzled and confused

Would that be Dan, anyway on the location front.... What he said.

I believe the first Wildhearts song I heard was Top of the World, which remains amoungst my favourites too.
Isn't it ironic that not many people know the meaning of the word esoteric?

First exposure to the band was the uncensored video for Lovebank on a compilation video I got from Sonically Speaking (I only bought it for the Backyard Babies stuff!) The video was a laugh but the song didn't do alot for me.
I knew of Ginger as being an influence on the Babies, and from Super$hit 666 so then bought the Best Of for a fiver. Fell in love in an instant and have collected anything and everything I could find WH related!

ahhhh sonically speaking i purchased quite a bit from them meself also backyard babies stuff
