I work with Dave Gilmours sister-in-law. Sorry, thought I'd just share that thrilling fact with you there. Um...

Twisted Sister in June and Iron Maiden in December.

You know, that's exactly the way I feel about Download. Would love to see Ginger, Clutch, Metallica, Tool, AIC but would have to sit through the rest of it, and I fear there's not enough beer in the world to fuel that kind of stamina...

Saw Henry Rollins on Monday. Ginger on Tuesday. Going to see The Secret Machines on Sunday (never even heard them but my friend had a free spare ticket) Of course going to see Maiden. And Down have just released a date in Manchester in May. Have to go and see that.

Saw Nashville Pussy last night at Rock City, with Tokyo Dragons in support. Fantastic show all round, and they all got on stage together at the end to play "You Shook Me All Night Long" - marvellous!

Saw someone wearing a Kowalski's shirt as well, which threw me slightly!

I'm on for The Authentics and Drive By Truckers next week, then Danko Jones later in the month. Think there's some other gigs i've got lined up as well, but they escape me at the moment...
