Then my kid spilled something on it and it ended up sticking to some papers that were then laid on top of it... we all know how that sort of thing works out.

Anyway, I never took it out and looked for faces or anything.

I'm not a vinyl expert.... can you spray it gently with filtered water to clean it? Is there anything you can do?

If it were the vinyl itself, yes I'm sure that would work. But in my case the vinyle is fine... it's the actual front cover that is messed up.

from Japanese shop's website :

CD single features “The New Flesh” (Radio Edit) plus two new and previously unreleased songs “Unbroken” and “Oh, Bonita!”
The 7” is on white vinyl and features “The New Flesh” (Radio Edit) and “Unbroken” and is strictly limited to 1000 copies.
A video is available for the single and the band will be touring the U.K. in December

Hope this helps.....B-side tracks - good news or bad news for you?

I personally expect the band will release one more single from this album in early next year and it features the rest of outtakes "Zen Requiem" and "Borderline".

Sayoyara for now

For me, this is a little sad. Only two B-sides? I believe this is a record for least amount of material ever released onto a CD by The Wildhearts.

I'll buy it, but ultimately I will have paid probably $20+ for, from my point of view, one song.

Well I'm pleased that Bonita is on there. I didn't really want to have to buy the whole album again just for that.

So, let's speculate about what the other single could possibly be. I reckon Bi Polar Baby, though Inner City Overture could make a decent assault on the charts.

The Revolution Will Be Televised. I have no doubt at all.

Nice to know Ill get to hear Oh Bonita, shame there arent the usual number of B-sides though. Who knows though, maybe Unbroken is a quite long masterpiece...
As for another single, no matter how much you guys love the songs like Bi-polar Baby if its anything its going to be Revolution Will Be Televised, I cant imagine them releasing any of the others (Except a shortened version of Rooting for the Bad Guy, but thats just my ideal scenario and based on Gingers love of the song) or the others having as much commercial success....but maybe Im just a little bias for not liking Hard Way, Inner City and Bi Polar as much as the rest of the album...
Who knows though, maybe less b-sides and them only being album cuts means more concentration on getting songs ready for another album next year...

In my opinion, Monsters is easily the best track on the album, and in some ways, the best track on the last four albums. The only thing I don't like about it is the intro; not only does it start with the line "you broke my heart", but it's also got the "skin you alive" line that, in my opinion, is just silly.

Just thought Id mention that the 'New Flesh' vinyl has just been listed for pre order at HMV.co.uk (but strangely not the cd version) for £3.49 and the CD version has been listed at Virgin Megastores.co.uk (but strangely not the vinyl version) for £5.00.

Still no artwork up anywhere but at least the ball is now offically rolling on the October 1st relese date :D

Oh an on the subject of what should be next single, would love to see an edited version of Rooting but realistically I think maby Revolution or The Hard Way.

But you never know, we may get a She's All That single release if CJ has any say in it!

so what's the format of the release??

Is it just the 7" and cd single, or is it gonna be like So Into You, where there were 2cd's and a 7"

I see both virgin and hmv record numbers are the same for the cd, so I am assuming that there'll only be the one cd.
