BRMC part 2

A 2 hour assault on the ear drums, well fuckin loud. For 3 of them they don't half hammer some tunes out.

Nine Black Alps were cool too.

Huge sound for a three piece indeed. I loved their acoustic album.

Quite a similar set to Glasgow, although we didn't get Howl (BOO!!) but did get Promise (YAY!!!)

There was a PA problem (horrible intermittent clicking sounds over the music), not sure if they noticed it onstage or not but the band left after about half an hour and Peter played Faultline by himself (naturally) and when they returned it sounded perfect so we assumed it was a break to sort out the snafu!!

Blistering set mind. I'd have prefered more from Howl but I can't be too greedy when you consider what they did give us!!! 2 hours of some of the best music produced this decade!!!

Fucking great band!!!

Just ordered Howl.

Apparently the session guy (Spike) is not on the rest of the tour.

Don't dismiss it just yet, give it a chance, It's a stunning record!!

I got into them at the beggining so I was caught by the heavier stuff initially, but when Howl came out it blew me away. It's not typical of the band's overall sound but it's now hard to picture them without hearing an accoustic slot in the set now!!!
