I'd love to see a new compilation dvd with all the post 2000 promos on.
God knows if we'll ever see it though.

the "must be destroyed"-era promo vids were pretty generic and unimpresive. it'd need to have ALL the wildies vids to be worth a punt IMO.

The only reason I said post 2000 was because the previous promos were/are available on a Jap DVD. However I realise not everyone has that, so yeah a dvd with ALL promos on is a must have.

yeah it was cool, so was top of the world, but they're not the sort of crazy ass videos that'd get repeat viewings (like the newer ones are) that'd warrant a dvd to themselves.

I bought the DVD and it had the making of the video, but due to a fuck up at the mastering stage it didn't actually have the finished video for the song on it!

I thought it looked cheap and pretty amatuer to be honest and feel the same about most of the videos from that time.

New Flesh is a bit better and Destroy looks better

Although if I watch it too much I have the urge to charge over the bridge at Newcastle Central, a la the kid in the video.

I fear what Destroy All Monsters will do to me.

Come on now people,The 'Vanilla Radio' video is a deeply moving, thought provoking, intense piece of cinematic history.
It must be, 'cos me and our lass were there when it was filmed!! :D
Who could forget the intro from Mini-Elvis? "And now,the band that they call...The Wildhearts!!!"

Y'know, I always wondered why the actual video wasn't on the DVD. Meant to check it out but I must've forgotten...

Here's a link for the Destroy All Monster vid. It had a feature in Bizarre (Ginger's cropped up in this fantastic mag a few times over the years) as a collaberation between two of the magazines favourite artists!!

That's like rock and roll clashing with Hostel part II. I love it to bits but it's never gonna be seen on TV now is it?!
