I guess they don't have the space in the mag to put everything in. Maybe the writer did review Damone as well but the editor chopped it out to save space. Or the writer was in the bar or the pub while Damone were playing?

I've read loads of reviews over the years where the bottom band on the bill are left off, most likely because the reviewer is given a word limit or a space to fill. Maybe he just didn't get there in time? It's more honest than pretending he was there if he wasn't - for an account of how wrong that can go, check out the 'Starship' story in Stuart Maconie's book Cider With Roadies.

True I guess. Remember the Scarborough Castle review where they basically just read the setlist from the back of Strike Back and assumed how the gig had gone?
