Are these actually terrorvision dates or Laika Dog? Quite liked Laika Dog but would prefer to see the one band of the mid-ninties holy trinity that i always managed to miss.

They'll be Terrorvision dates don't worry, they tend to do the odd tour now and again the only difference is Shutty isnt on the drum stool anymore as he went off to do something in the education system so I'm not sure whos taken his place but from what I've gathered the shows having just been going through the motions, they're as though the band never split up although apparently, now i dont know if this is true or not as Ive not had chance to see them, they dont play much stuff off Shaving Peaches or Good To Go.

Wasn't it Leigh who didn't do the last few dates? I'm pretty sure Shutty took any chance he could to stop selling overhead projectors to educational establishments.

Edit :- According to this thread it was anyway.

I like Shaving Peaches (silly hobby, i know), it's got a good sound, really liked Regular Urban Survivors and the first ones go without saying, never got the last 1 (or 2), never saw any promo or bumph about it/them.

I thought Shaving Peaches was terrible, production wise it was top notch but the songs where missing something, Josephine was alright (and so was her sister fnarr fnarr) but the rest just never stuck with me, the last album Good To Go wasnt much better but did have a few more memorable tracks, i think Tequila was on their last album that went postal in the charts thanks to Zoe Fatfellaslim raving about the MintRoyale remix and Fists Of Fury was quite a good song, the video took the piss out of one of MAdonna's songs but the thing I remember most about that track was going to see the the finals of the United Kingdoms cheerleader competition (im not a perv I was dating one of Loughborough University cheerleaders at the time) and that was the track they all came out to.

The entirety of Loughborough University Cheerleading team announced they were lesbians at a National competition?!? That should have made the papers surely?

Good to Go had some ace songs on it, unfortunately it got no promotion from the record company. Shaving Peaches was extremely hit and miss... It had about three different producers from what I remember, including Edwyn Collins and Utah Saints! This could have contributed to the disjointedness.

Tequila was off Shaving Peaches... I remember news that the record company wanted them to follow up the success of Tequila, but of course they couldn't, so they were dropped.

Terrorvision were a great live band, always a party!
