What a fucking arsehole.

Got the shirts no problem left feedback saying the shirts where sent quickly and they where exactly as advertised and made sure there was no negativity in the commetns as i had a feeling this guy was gonna be trouble, logged into my acount to be met with this little message from him

YOU HAVE SOME NERVE TRASHING MY FEEDBACK
YOU JUST GOT TWO NEGATIVES
DO NOT BID ON ANU OF MY ITEMS AGAIN YOU IDIOT

WANT TO DEAL WITH AN IDIOT LOOK NO FURTHER CANCEL THEIR BIDS TROUBLE
beware of this one major headache tried to get out of paying shipping AVOID

And i didnt even message him the way Ean suggested.

Needless to say Ebay has been notified but its really pissed me off as all the other ratings I've had have been nothing less than glowing and i've just spotted that they won't remove negative feedback even if its unfounded.

Did you check through the guy's feedback before you bid?

Fuck! I wouldn't have touched him if you'd paid me, no matter how rare the shirts!

He's had 22 less than favourable feedbacks in the last year alone and 17 'mutually withdrawn' which I don't think show up in the numbers.

He mainly seems pissed that you left neutral instead of positive so his little numbers didn't go up by one.

It might be time for some retaliatory follow up then try to get back into your original account?

Might as well turn in this into the eBay thread

How much do you guys purchase from eBay? I like alot of obscure bands not many people have heard of so I pick up ALOT of my CD's from eBay. I think I must have about 40 CD's ive purchased from there in the past year and ive not had a problem with any one of them

I use ebay a fair amount and to be honest this dickhead is the first person I've had any trouble with, even if somethings hasnt arrive or has arrived in a state that was deemed unsuitable, so I have not a problem with ebay i think its a glorious invention the only time its shit is when some rotten sod bids on something you really really want and succeeds in getting it for only fifty pence more like the other nigh (Anorak time) I was trying to get my hands on a large bust (fnar fnar) of Ron Perlman as Hellboy, these things normally go for around 150 to 200 quid and I found one going going for a tenner so i stuck fifteen quid in and half an hour before it was due to end some twat put 15.50 so i missed out, although i did get a rather large Gremlin statue that im waiting to be delivered

I've got a dispute going that I escalated into a claim last week.

Won an auction for a brand new, unused Fujitsu Siemens laptop
Didn't receive the item, numerous emails to seller were met with ignorance, so I've opted to try and get my money back, I wouldn't have bothered if it had been a tenner or so, but nearly 300 sheets, errr, well, I can't afford to lose that much.

Back to my point though, I've used ebay for about 5 years or so, and every problem I've had has been solved quickly and to both parties' satisfaction, so I guess it depends on luck really.
Only advice I can give, is always pay promptly if you win an auction, and if you do need to contact a seller, then be polite in your correspondence.
