Knowing how good the Beeb are at keeping plotlines/characters secret etc (since the relaunch of Dr. Who). I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Tyler put in an appearance!! After all, his body was never found!?!? Posssibly one for the season finale cliff hanger?!?!

It was very good and extremely clever how they got the new girl (can't remeber her name?)into Sams world............

But, what's the future for Gene Hunt after this???

I'm guessing one more series of Ashes to Ashes after this one has finished depending on the ratings and then that'll be it the Guv will be put to rest, which in a way would be best so they don't over do it with the characters but will suck as we won't see him twatting nonces in his own inimitable style anymore as I don't think there's anywhere else for him to go unless they do a one off where it turns out that he's not the figment of the imagination it was actually Sam Tyler, Alex Drake Ray Chris and Liz who where the figments and it's Hunty who's actually ill.
