THE WORKS

Postby Ady » 14th Feb 08, 18:05

I'm assuming this is the title of said new album??

MOD EDIT: Retitled and stickied so hopefully people will get the hint and refrain from starting unnecessary new threads.

Just over 5 weeks till it's release, if the link is to be believed, so why haven't we heard anything official either here, on wh.com or any of the associated myspace pages????

I remember it being called 'Stop Me If Youv'e Heard This One Before. Vol 1'. So hopefully a Vol 2 in future too.
Unless 'The Works' is a title of an album of all their early 'B' Sides.
Either that or they have done covers of the songs of 'The Works' by Queen. :)

What? A Wildhearts release that we find out about via the message board before an official announcement! Surely not

part of the magic of the board finding out stuff from elsewhere. 'The Works' conjures the idea that it's got everything on there.... which could mean a covers album or the each member does a track idea!

I ain't much help am I? Fingers crossed for March, but release dates where meant to be broken!

If it is the album with all four of them doing the vocals the ginger section may contain Zen Requiem and any of the others Borderline

Oh YES! I like the sound of that! Hammer To Fall, Tear It Up, It's A Hard Life :D (I know, getting far too excited about something that's never going to happen.....)

Couldnt imagine "its a hard life" (that'll be saved for gingers next solo album! )

But hammer to fall & tear it up would be amazing!!! :D

Or they could just be doing a tribute to the slightly tacky discount stationary and book store The Works
