Wildhearts collection - some advice please!

Postby jonesy jones » 24th Feb 08, 23:28

Hi,

Advice needed please I have a large Wildhearts / Ginger / Silverginger5 etc collection which includes many rarities (too many records to list but it fills 1 large cabinet!)
I have transfered every track I have (apart from some bootlegs) to my ipod + hard drive and have found since doing this I have rarely had the need to pick out a cd.
Should I sell this collection - I have been deliberating for a long time now - I feel a loyalty to the stuff and the band to keep it - but then again if it is just going to sit there would it be of more use to someone else?
I will go with the majority vote!
Cheers

Don't do it, you'll regret it like I did. I needed some money (late 90's) and sold a lot of my collection, including some cool stuff like the TV Tan pizza box, caffeine bomb mug, Mondo CD & Vinyl and loads more.

Cos if you don't, what will you do when your house gets burgled and some cunt nicks your iPod and your computater?
How dare you!

IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

Don't do it. You can find some other way to make some extra money, but if you sell this now, it will soon start to haunt you for the rest of your life.

I had to sell most of my collection last year due to 'unforseen' circumstances, and really really miss the stuff (even though i have it all on my ipod still) so unless youreally need the money , like I did, don't do it mate

Don't do it. You can't beat the real thing. Looks like you've already made up your mind... good to hear it was the right call.
