but everything upto endless, nameless wasnt "just" him... there was an input from others & it was "his" band rather than just him... hard to put into words... d'ya understand me though?!

I went "I'd like to buy this please" to the counter monkey, you've just contradicted y'self there I think, Ginger wrote everything on PHUQ and its a wildhearts album, Ginger wrote everything on Black Leather mojo and its an SG5 album he's on record saying that it's a band effort the first mention of a real solo album was Valor, even A Break In The Weather/Singles Club was never really classed as a solo thing even though it was the first real thing he released that wasnt under the Wildhearts banner.

In terms of solo albums i think they're only ever gonna be really classed as actual solo albums if they go under the persons name, therefore Ginge has only had three, four if you really wana include A Break In The Weather.

Fuck it this is getting to confusing for me I'm off to listen to Jivebunny and The Mastermixers

but a break in the weather was not released as an "official" album. it was a compilation of the singles club tracks so it doesn't count ( much as landmines and don't be happy aren't counted as official wildhearts albums). none of these were recorded as a studio album.

Eh? DBH only doesn't count as an album because it's not an album, it's a double EP - it's no different to the main release of FFL for being two separate sets of recordings put together.

Landmines isn't official because it has nothing to do with the band.

I think you'll find they're all Wildhearts albums apart from PHUQ which was a solo project with the guys from SG5 and contributions from Supershit (AKA CJ, the lead singer of the Sonic Circus and former Quire Boy). And of course who can forget Yoni the Cunt.
