Nope, got mine last year at 2007 prices... :D

I'd imagine it'll be a complete nightmare until it sells out - it was last year.

Here's the line-up so far...

Have you thought about phoning?

I see the rumour was true about Rage playing, that's looking quite tempting. Especially since Download don't seem to be doing day tickets this year. Shame.
I feel the scales tilting in favour of the Leeds line up so far... Unless we hear something from the Wildhearts to change that it looks like I'll be going to Leeds Fest again. 8)

Got my tickets in the Earlybird sale last year.

Mixed feelings - I liked the Friday indie/ Saturday rock/ Sunday metal split, and the Friday bill is an odd one and no mistake. Plenty of good stuff to pick out from that though and when the full bill's announced I doubt I'll be bored much.

The bottom of the poster does say 'Artists Not In Order Of Appearance', so there might be a bit of shuffling around. :?

As long as the shuffling around results in all the bands I want to see being on the saturday in Leeds so I don't have to fork out for 2 day tickets again, that suits me just fine.
Cost me an arm and a leg last year. And all I have to show for it are some photos of the Jack Daniels saloon.

My first was 1995. I paid 60 quid and I didn't buy my ticket 'til about three weeks before the event.

Ah, those were the days. I remember when it was all fields, etc. etc...

I went to Reading from 89 - 92.
This was a ruff year due to the weather:
1992
Headliners: The Wonder Stuff, Public Enemy, Nirvana
Nirvana are headlining (after endless rumours of a no-show) and it rains like buggery on the Saturday night. Other acts include Suede, Ride, Pavement and Public Enemy. The comedy tent is closed down permanently due to the weather and the music tent is closed temporarily. Manic Street Preachers also don't have the best weekend. Nicky Wire smashes his guitar in two and hurls it into the crowd, hitting a security guard who needs 16 stitches. The band depart as soon as they leave the stage, even before getting paid. Stupid buggers.
Festival prices: Lager (Caslemaine) is £2.00 a pint, cider, bitter and Guinness are also £2.00. Hell, even shandy is £2.00, but for the serious drinker, there's good news - snakebite is just £2.00. Official T-shirts are £10 for black and white, coloured shirts are £12 and long-sleeved shirts £14. Advance tickets for the 1993 festival are available by post at £45.
