I hate to be the guy bringing the negative, I really do... but this just isn't anywhere near up to par.

Like a bad rehearsal? Seriously? I thought the band sounded really tight!

I quite like the way the videos been shot, although obviously it's been compressed to go onto Youtube.

Quite looking forward to the DVD now!

Everyone was "on", for the most part (except for ill-time "hey!" here and there". Mostly it just seemed lukewarm and heartless... up until the concert section, that is.

I happen to like the 'live in the studio' feel to the video... and mixing it with the live show for the end... GREAT!!

I'm sure it was a nice inexpensive way to make a music video to promote the album. "The New Flesh", while VERY well done, looks like it was also done on the cheap. Perfect way to promote the record inexpensively.
It still baffles me how some artists need to spend upwards of a half-million dollars to make a 3-4 minute clip.

Looking forward to the DVD... hope I can view it in the US. :).

I suspect it looks exactly as they intended it to. Mean, moody and very effective. Some posts here seem to suggest that the band should be smiling and blowing kisses at every opportunity  ........go back to watching your lip synched Boyz II Men videos.

Pardon me for not being permanently locked into Wildhearts-fanboi mode, and for actually being able to see and hear their work objectively. They can do better than this.

If I were in the position that the guys are in, I would expect honesty from the fan-base, not continued ass-kissery.

And by the way, the "lip synched Boyz II Men videos" I usually watch are actually the lip-synched Wildhearts videos... you know, every single one up until this one.

I'm with you Nuno

Well, kinda. I really love the video, but I totally agree with your words above.

Hey, it's just opinion y'know. I'm not a complete Wildies fanboi, and there have been Wildhearts releases / videos that I've thought weren't up to par. The So Into You video (and song for that matter) weren't spectacularly good, for example.

I like the Revoloution vid for what it is, a refreshing change from the usual contrived lip-synched videos that EVERY other band makes.

And just like every other Ginger / Wildhearts release - if this one isn't to your liking, chances are the next one will be.

And that's exactly where opinion comes in. So Into You is one of my favourite Wildhearts songs, granted, the video wasn't exactly mind blowing, but I did like the concept of it.

As for not liking any Wildhearts songs, I honestly think that there isn't one I don't like, BUT, I do go through periods where, if I'm listening to an album, I'll skip a track thatI don't fancy listening to to at theat particular time.

Junkenstein. There's never a situation in which I can enjoy Junkenstein even a little bit.

Besides that one, I could write up a huge list of Wildhearts songs that I don't like, but if I'm being honest, it's only in comparison to other Wildhearts songs and not in comparison to all other music in general. Besides Junkenstein, I still like the Wildhearts songs that I "don't like" more than most other music.

MOD - THREAD CONTINUES...

I have to agree with you on this, Ginger looks bord there is no energy in it.
The end was great though,
