I keep on having Silver Sun - There Goes Summer flashbacks.

Silver Sun! Ah, one of the best bands in the known Universe. With yet another new album due (hopefully) this year...

Understanding Jane

top notch version of a classic pop song from the 80's. I have the Icicle
Works orginial on 7 inch viny. The Hearts give it a new lease of life. Deserves
loads of airplay.

Out of interest, as i'm interested, just how different or non-different is the Wildhearts version to the Original? I'm interested you see.

I ask in absence of speakers at work.

That was great!

The screaming feedback reminds me a bit of 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun' by The Libertines.

Can't wait for the next one!

Having checked out the original on You Tube I'd say the Wildhearts version doesn't deviate too much from the original (which I couldn't remember ever hearing before but it seems quite a familiar song so I suspect I probably had). I mean you can tell one is the Wildhearts and one isn't but it's hardly a dramatic re-interpretation of the song.

Am I the only one who isn't impressed? I mean its ok, but if Ginger/Wildhearts had written that I'd say its an average song at best. As its a cover it does nothing for me. Saying that, I am looking forward to Rearrange You - Baby Chaos are one of my favourite bands too.

I agree. It's a decent version, better than the original, but IMO the song itself is average 80s pop rock fodder and not in the same league s pretty much any genuine Wildhearts tune. Guess that's further proof of the quaility of Ginger's songwriting!

It's not doing a heck of a lot for me at the moment. I agree...it's OK.

Unsung is up.......

Took me a moment to figure out who was singing.....I think its CJ.

Sounds like he singing really deep, ususlly he has a more higher range melodic voice.

Guitars sound really like Helmet, not sure whether this is a good thing yet or if something different would have been better.

Still Unsung is a good song

More please..........
