SECOND NEW TRACK UP ON WH MYSPACE - UNSUNG

I truly hope that I'm wrong, but this is shaping up to be my second least favourite WH album.

I find it a bit unfair not to say stupid to compare a covers album to an origial one. Ofcourse this will never be as good as an original WH album but it sounds pretty good to me and I listen to it as a covers/relax thing to do. And I really do believe I'm gonna listen to this album more x than I did to EN :p

General sound quality could us a fair amount of improvement and, at least in this track, I think the guitars could stand to drop a little in the mix.

The fact that they're only streamed on myspace probably doesn't help

Loved Understanding Jane...not liking this one so much.

Then again i was never a fan of Helmet anyway so it was never gonna be a popular choice with me.

Still think the album will be great though having checked out quite a few of the original versions.

its ridiculous how much myspace rapes the sound quality of the tracks it streams.

having said that though, i hope the actual record isn't TOO cleanly produced, as the guitars on "unsung" sound nice and dirty, which i feel Helmet's version was missing, as it was a bit too clean and clinical.
