Wahtever happened to the God damn whores ep? Last I heard all the people who'd ordered it off Organ were still waiting? Is it available anywhere now?

right from talking to random on wednesday i asked what was going on with the god damn whores and basically , theres no such thing basically , it was just random by himself he made up fellow band members names up , he said about the ep , and that dosent excist none were ever made , so the guy who said there were eps was lying through his ass. however random did say that he has about 3-4 albums worth of material and they may see the light of day at somepoint.

Yep, sean at organ id being the same with everyone - I know plenty of people that ordered it.

You beat me to it posting what Jon had said - he asked me to post something similar, but I didn't quite know how to phrase it! lol.

Basically, people were told the single/ep was being released, but none ever got made, the delay in release was put down to 'jons ill health' which was a complete load of crap on Sean's behalf - there's never been anything wrong with Jon - apart from him being slightly insane of course! hehehe. Jon never really had anything to do with the whole thing...

I've also been having the same problems trying to speak to sean about it - he just ignores me now, so I gave up. Not very good PR eh?

yeah, got thoroughly pissed off with Sean Organ on this matter. Paid for the single, got a reply about being delayed. Asked again months later. No relpy.
Interesting to know now that the single never existed.

Especially when the 'cover' for it is plastered all over their website

not exactly the great rock n' roll swindle but I'd have expected better from a zine like that.

I also remember emailing them for a free CD that was on offer, that never happened either.

GOD DAMN WHORES – this just in from lead whore Jon Poole. “Time for the world to meet my band”. The Whores are Jon Poole-Lead vocals/Lead guitar, The Beaver-Bass/voices+chants, Jo Sparks - Rhythm guitar/voices+chants Ben Jones-Drums/voices+chants.

“I met The Beaver in July 2002 at a party that he'd gate-crashed. He is brash, eccentric and sometimes speaks in an upper class accent. He definitely has a working class background though (whatever he may claim) if nothing else you can hear it in his cockney slur when he hits the spirits. He thinks he's a womaniser but he's usually too drunk to womanise. He is a character. It wasn't 'til I found him staying on various friend's couches that I realised that he has no fixed abode - hence the gate-crashing of the party I met him at. He is a chancer. For a homeless person he scrubs up pretty good and for a drunk he keeps his shit together and he can certainly PLAY the bass. When he grows up he wants to be Peter Cook .He is very shady about his past and no one actually knows where he came from. I don't think I want to know...

Jo Sparks is an acid casualty and lives in a tiny remote village somewhere in Hertfordshire with his parents. He’s safe there, he’s a sweetheart and we all love him very much. Ben Jones is an old school friend of mine whom I hadn't seen since I was 11 years old until I bumped into him at a local gig in Brighton. When he was a kid he was a spoilt brat. (Don't ever mention the Marmite sandwiches and celery incident that happened in '78.He won't let it go-the ungrateful little sod.)
